I am stressed all the time.
Since I have been here, I found that I cannot work and study like before. Some doubted that it is easier to study overseas. Well, it is true if you only aim for passing. If you tend to study some professional subjects, situation is similar to Hong Kong.
True, things are much straight forward but they keen on asking something that you usually ignored before. Who's care about Lewis Diagrams? Who's care about significant numbers? They do here. Therefore you must spend more time to struggle it out.
In Hong Kong, you will know what they hope you to write as there are so many past papers. What you need to do is just do, do and do. However, there is no past paper. You can only put everything into your head. The paper actually is quite easy as you have already put a large amount of knowledge into your head. Why you will think exam in Hong Kong is difficult? One, it is difficult but one significant point is that you probably remember how to do those questions in the past paper. When they change something in the question, you may not know what they are. I think we just too focus on the answer they want but without truly understanding the knowledge.
As no one can help you overseas, answer will never provide in front of you so you have to do a lot revision. Wikipedia, Google, Yahoo answer are the website I surfing for rather than Facebook, Youtube or any entertaining sources.
Everyone knows that school fee for international students drives parent crazy. Yes, this is one of the reasons why I feel stressed. My parents never force mt to do anything. Even coming overseas is what I force them to let me to go. They never complain or blame on my aweful result in Hong Kong. What I can do for them is work as hard as I can for getting a better G.P.A. and enter a good university.
With all the reasons, I stop every entertainment and force myslft to go to library whenever I have free time. I can't concentrate all the time. Maybe 4 out of 10 are okay. Like what I am doing now is totally the 6 out 10.
Good mates, enjoy the next 4 years!
