O week

After the previous miserable experience of taking a master course, I spent a year off doing something else to relax and cheer myself up. It seems everything goes so well without the pressure of study and perhaps I am ready to take this challenge again. I was fine when farewell with my colleagues and friends. I was ok when I said goodbye to my dearest mum. I cried a bit on the plane but it is ok, just emotional. After meeting up with my sister and her two beautiful kids, just like a start of a vacation. Few days later, I have to face to my first most annoying trouble which is house hunting. One, two, three, four....finally I have decided to pick the third one. I can't say it is perfect but it is the best out of all the options. Now I have moved to this new place, can't call it home while there is none family members here. This is not something I can control but God can. No matter what is the final decision. I am still very happy with this. Really, from my heart.

In those Japanese drama and animation, family members usually gather together to have sukiyaki for dinner to celebrate someone's achievement. This kind of family love sounds so warm to me. As people say, dinner holds a family. So I bought all the ingredients, nice beef, scallion, onion, tofu and mushrooms. Mum and I had a great time on playing with it even it was really hot in the kitchen. (We don't have the portable stove...) We were so busy with grilling beef, adding sugar, and other sauces. We discovered a new joyful way in cooking. As we prepared so many food, some were left for dad and my lunch tomorrow. Lately, dad came back. He looked at the food disdainfully and physically showing his temper with making banging sound with the plate and chopsticks. He only had a few and then threw all into the bin. Everything seems so childish to me. Obviously, he doesn't know what is the purpose of sukiyaki... ...
